Glazed in honey, orange and garlic, I don't know what more needs to be said. The juicy salmon with crisp and charred edges, combined with a silky caramelised sauce.

Perfect for a quick dinner packed with flavour that's guaranteed to please everyone. Soft and tender on the inside with minimal ingredients to really let the salmon shine through. You can't go wrong with this recipe!

Timings - preparation: 35 mins, cooking: 15 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 3tbsp honey

  • 2tbsp soy sauce

  • 100 ml orange juice

  • 2 salmons filets

Method:

  1. Mix together the ginger, garlic, sesame oil, honey, orange juice and soy sauce in a bowl and place the salmon in the bowl. Cover with cling film and leave to marinade for 30 mins.

  2. Remove the salmon from the bag and pour the sauce into a hot griddle pan. Allow it to thicken, this should take about 5 mins.

  3. Season the salmon and add it to the pan, searing on all sides for 2-3 mins each or until crispy and golden.

Serve alongside rice or potatoes with grilled vegetables.
